Dennings had a relationship with Nick Zano her "2 Broke Girls" co-star from between 2011 and 2014. Following their breakup the couple began to date Josh Groban. They were still in love. Dennings first began to date musician Andrew W.K. in 2021. In May 2021, they declared that their romance began. Dennings is an avid follower of this musician. He has been a fan of hers since 2014. Dennings has admitted that, while she was Jewish and was raised to become a member of the Jewish community on a cultural and ethnic level, religion does not form a large part in her everyday day life. Dennings has many activities, which include reading, painting and gardening. Her plans to go to art school were derailed when her portfolio was destroyed in a flood. In the end, she decided to interpret this as a sign to continue acting. She isn't a drinker or smoke, and she enjoys Transcendental Meditation.
